Spring Rolls
Ingredients
- - Glass noodles
- - Carrot
- - Cabbage
- - Meat of choice
- - Black pepper
- - Soy sauce
- - Oyster sauce
- - Spring roll dough sheets
- - Egg
Instructions
- Soak glass noodles until soft, then cut into short lengths.
- Finely shred carrot and cabbage.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the meat until just done.
- Add glass noodles, carrot, and cabbage; stir-fry briefly.
- Season with black pepper, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.
- Remove from heat and allow filling to cool.
- Place filling onto dough sheets, roll tightly, and seal edges with beaten egg.
- Deep-fry spring rolls until golden and crisp.
- Drain and serve hot.

Ingredients
- - Pineapple
- - Bell pepper
- - Onion
- - Carrot
- - Spring onion
- - Cucumber
- - Tomato
- - Meat of choice
- Sauce
- - Oyster sauce
- - Tomato sauce
- - Soy sauce
- - Sugar
Instructions
- Cut all vegetables and meat into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the meat until lightly browned.
- Add onion and carrot; stir-fry briefly.
- Add bell pepper, cucumber, pineapple, and tomato.
- Mix oyster sauce, tomato sauce, soy sauce, and sugar to form the sweet and sour sauce.
- Pour sauce into the pan and stir until evenly coated.
- Simmer briefly until vegetables are just tender.
- Taste and adjust sweet and sour balance.
- Garnish with spring onion and serve.
