Phuket Botanic Garden for Traditional Thai Medicinal Plants

The Journey to Discover Medicinal Plants

Welcome to our medicinal herb garden at Kamala Beach Estate. This part of our garden is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of Thai traditional medicine.

Finding authentic medicinal herbs was a challenge. My journey led me to Apai Phubet Hospital, a renowned herbal hospital northeast of Bangkok. There, in a nearby village, a kind elderly lady introduced me to a local grower. After two days, he gathered around 100 different plants, which was transported to Kamala Beach Estate and replanted.
