Massaman Curry (แกงมัสมั่น)
A rich, nutty, and mild Thai curry with aromatic spices and tender meat.
Ingredients
- 500 g beef or chicken cut into cubes
- 2 cups coconut milk
- 3 tbsp Massaman curry paste
- 1 potato diced
- 1 onion sliced
- 1/4 cup peanuts
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tbsp palm sugar
- Lime juice to taste
Instructions
- Heat coconut milk in a pot and add Massaman curry paste, cooking until fragrant.
- Add meat and cook until browned. Add potatoes, onions, peanuts, fish sauce, and palm sugar.
- Simmer until meat and potatoes are tender. Adjust seasoning with lime juice as desired.
Notes
Best served with steamed jasmine rice.
