Mango Sticky Rice (ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง)

A traditional Thai dessert featuring sweet sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup glutinous rice soaked overnight
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 ripe mango sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds toasted

Instructions
 

  • Steam the soaked sticky rice until tender.
  • In a saucepan, heat coconut milk with sugar until dissolved. Pour over sticky rice and let it absorb.
  • Serve sticky rice with mango slices and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Notes

Best served warm for full flavor.
