Mango Sticky Rice (ข้าวเหนียวมะม่วง)
A traditional Thai dessert featuring sweet sticky rice with fresh mango and coconut milk.
Ingredients
- 1 cup glutinous rice soaked overnight
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 ripe mango sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds toasted
Instructions
- Steam the soaked sticky rice until tender.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk with sugar until dissolved. Pour over sticky rice and let it absorb.
- Serve sticky rice with mango slices and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Notes
Best served warm for full flavor.
